Handpainted Bag Lady

"Poppies" is painted on a vintage Coach bucket bag. This bag measures 11 x 10 1/2 x 4 inches with the strap measuring a 20 inch drop and is adjustable.  The basecoat is a bronze with oranges, yellow, greens, and brown.  The leather is butter soft and the exterior is in newly painted condition. The hardware is brass with a great patena and works fabulously! The interior has a pouch and is in great condition! There is an exterior slip pouch on the front. This is a wonderful bag-just the right size!

"Honey Bee" is handpainted on a vintage Coach City Bag. The bag measures 11 x 7 x 3 inches with the strap measuring a 20 inch drop and is adjustable. The bag has been basecoated with a bronze with pinks, purples, yesll, oranges, blues and greens.  The exterior of the bag is freshly painted and sealed to protect the leather and the paint detail.  The interior of the bag has a kangaroo pouch under the overflap and a zippered pouch on the inside. There is also a bonus slip pouch on the back of the bag! This bag sports a twist closure and the hardware on the bag is original solid brass with a nice patena.

"White Tiger" is handpainted on a vintage Coach Classic convertable handbag/clutch.  The bag measures 11 x 7 x 2 inches with a 20 inch drop double strap that is removable from the bag to create a clutch. There is another wristlet strap that measures a 14 inch loop.  The basecoat is black with white, bone, greys, pinks, red, greens and a touch of orange.  The exterior is newly painted and sealed to protect the leather and paint detail. The interior has a slip pouch.  The hardware on this bag is a very thick strudy brass with a wonderful patena. 

"Blues" has been handpainted onto a vintage Coach leather handbag.  The bag measures 12 x 8 x 3 1/2 inches with a strap measuring a 20 inch drop that is adjustable.  The base color is a deep metallic blue with detail added in white, black, orange, purple, browns, pinks, yellow and green.  This bag is an eyecatcher!  Named by one of my favorite regular customers, "Blues" is freshly painted and sealed to protect the leather and paint detail.  The interior has a zippered pouch and there is also a bonus slip pouch on the outside of the bag! The hardware is the usual wonderful thick sturdy Coach solid brass with a nice patena!

"Piano Rose" is a vintage Coach leather handbag/purse handpainted with a piano keyboard and a rose. The base color is black with white, reds, and greeens.  This bag is unique and not made anymore by Coach.  The measurements of this bag are 10 x 8 x 2 inches with the strap measuring a 20 inch drop and is adjustable.  The hardware on this bag is solid brass with a buckle on the front flap, the long strap, and the strap attachments to the bag. The interior of the bag has a zippered pouch with the Coach Creed and Serial number stamped into the leather.  The back of the bag has a great easy slip pouch. Another nice kangaroo pouch is under the overflap on the front of the bag. The exterior of the bag is freshly painted and sealed to protect the leather and paint detail.  The interior is excellent as well and the brass hardware is in excellent working order with a nice patena!  A wallet is available to match, also made by Coach, painted by the Handpainted Bag Lady!  This vintage Coach leather handbag has been painted to be a summer watermelon.  The leather bag was de-glazed, painted, and then re-glazed to protect the leather and the paint detail.  The bag measures 8 x 7 x 2 1/2 inches and has a long strap with a 24 inch drop (which is detachable) and a short carry handle.  The exterior it newly painted and in excellent condition with a slip pouch on the rear of the bag.  The interior has a zippered pouch with the Coach Creed and serial number stamped into the leather.  The interior is suede and is excellent condition for a bag of it's age.  There are a few tiny pen markings.  The hardware is solid brass and is in excellent shiney condition and works flawlessly!  This is a great bag in the perfect size with options for carrying.  The bag drops nicely across the body with the long strap and it also comfortable to carry with the carry handle.  The bag is signed by the artist.

This Fossil leather handbag has been painted with an abstract garden view to be a piece of wearable art.  The bag measures 8 1/2 x 7 x 3 inches and the strap with a 20 inch drop.   This bag has very useful compartments on both sides of the bag.  One side has a very large compartment with ID slot window, credit card slots, a zippered pouch, and a pen holder.  The other side opens to reveal another zippered compartment and a slip pouch under the overflap.  Both sides of the bag have magnetic overflaps that are handpainted.  The hardware is nickel colored and is in excellent condition.  The interior and exterior of the bag are in excellent condition with the interior lined with the usual Fossil satiny lining with the Fossil logo printed all over.  This is a great bag to grab and go! The bag is signed by the artist.

Stargate Abstract is a vintage Coach leatherworks handbag handpainted into a wearable art piece!  Painted with a faint metallic dark blue base, this bag has great color and is an eyecatcher!  The bag measures 9 x 7 x 3 inches with a 20 inch drop adjustable strap.  There is a kangaroo pouch under the overflap and another pouch on the back of the bag for ease of getting to the cell phone in time.  The inside of the bag has a zippered pouch with the Coach Creed and serial number printed into the leather.  The hardware is solid brass and in perfect working condition.  This bag is a one-of-a-kind and is signed by the artist. 

 "When Pigs Fly" is handpainted onto a pebbled leather Coach leather handbag. 

 The bag measures 9 x 6 x 2 inches with an 18 inch drop strap that is adjustable.  The leather is a soft pebbled texture.  The exterior of the bag has been freshly painted and re-glazed to protect the leather and paint detail.  The interior is lined in black fabric with a zippered pouch.  The Coach Creed and serial number are also stamped onto a leather tag inside the bag.

 The Garden Gnome is handpainted onto a vintage Coach Leatherworks bag. The base colors are a swirl of color with a slight metallic, and the detail is a sneaky Gnome hidding an axe behind his back.  The bag was painted with high quality artist acrylic leather paint and is sealed/glazed with acrylic leather glaze to protect the leather and the paint detail.  The bag measures 9 x 8 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches with a 20 inch drop strap.  There is a great pouch on the back of the bag and the exterior is freshly painted.  The interior is in pristine condition and has another wonderful zippered pouch with the Coach Creed and serial number stampted into the leather.  The hardware is solid brass and in perfect working condition! It is still shiney and nice.  The bag and the paint work will last and last-Coach is famous for this-especially with these thick leathered vintage bags! This Gnome is waiting for a home!

 The Panda Bear has been handpainted on a wonderful lambskin leather Nine West handbag!  The bag measures 8 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches with a 24 inch drop on the strap.  The base color is a bronze with pewter and copper slightly swirled in for depth.  The Panda is holding a flower in his mouth.  This bag is a great size-not too big, but big enough for all of the essentials!  The exterior is freshly painted and has a slip pocket right above the Panda with the Nine West logo stamped into the leather.  The exterior has been glazed with acrylic leather glaze to protect both the leather and the paint detail.  The interior is lined with clean black cloth lining and has a zippered pouch also with the Nine West logo stampted on a leather tag.  This bag is one of a kind wearable art and is signed by the artist. 

The Watermelon Fairy was painted on a Large Coach Leather Handbag. This bag is like new inside and out-in fact has not been used since it was purchased.  The Watermelon fairy is painted with professional acrylic paints.  The paint and leather has been sealed with acrylic leather glaze to protect the leather and the paint detail.  This is definitely a ONE-OF-A-KIND watermelon bag with a funny play on the seeds as rain.  Her umbrella is even in on the deal!  The leather pull has been painted to match the bag with seeds included and so has the Coach leather Hangtag! 

The bag measures a nice 12 x 9 1/2 x 5 inches with a 12 inch shoulder strap drop that is adjustable to be larger or smaller.  The strap is not only adjustable, but removeable.  The hardware is perfect and Nickel as is the small chain for the hangtag and the interior pouch zipper pull.  The Watermelon Fairy bag has a large pouch on the exterior back of the bag which runs the entire length of the bag and 5 1/2 inches deep.  The interior has a huge main compartment and a zippered pouch against the front wall with the Coach Creed and serial number (D6J-9058). 

Both sides of this bag have been decorated with much detail and the bag is signed by the artist.  This is absolutely wearable art!

This beautiful vintage Coach wallet has been handpainted into a wearable art piece!  Inside has a zippered pocket, credit card slots, a great place for a checkbook, and is leather throughout!  The wallet measures 7 x 4 inches and has a snap closure.  This wallet was in wonderful condition and is now in excellent condition restored!  A great find and authentic vintage Coach for the price!!!! 

 This is a very nice like new Coach handbag which has been painted into a wearable art piece.  4 dragonflies are dancing around on the overflap that has a brass twist closure.  This bag was de-glazed, painted, and re-glazed with our special water resistent glaze that protects the leather and the paint detail. 

The bag measures 9 x 7 x 4 inches and has a slim 24 inch drop strap.  The interior is a spotless black suede and has an interior zippered pocket.  The Coach Creed and serial number is stamped into the leather as usual. 

 Silver has been added to the colors on the wings to have a shimmering look to the dragonfly!

This is a great pebbled leather Nine West handbag/sling purse that measures 8 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches.  The strap is long and is intended for across body.  There are two nice zippered pockets on the back of the bag and more sections inside the bag!  The leather is soft and nice!
