~About the Artist~

I, the Handpainted Bag Lady, am a retired child/adolescent therapist and high school behavior specialist.  I have always loved art in many forms and have enriched my life and hopefully the lives of others with art.  I frequently used art therapy with children, and have found that painting is an art therapy for myself!  I love to recycle top quality leather handbags that will last forever, but just need a new life. I enjoy sharing ideas and art!  My mission is to provide beautiful wearable art, recycle, reuse, and renew the old into cherished pieces, and to provide a product that exceeds expectations!

Our Business

The Handpainted Bag Lady started as gifts for family and friends and has evolved into a super group of baby boomer women, and now women of all ages from little girls to great-grandmothers, who love to express individual personality and style! The Handpainted Bag Lady's club has grown from a few bags selling on ebay, to an art gallery site, to boutique stores, to return customers with custom orders, to a great group of friends!!!!  I appreciate all of my Customers/Friends and thier interest in my handpainted leather handbags!
